710 North Mobility Hubs Plan
The 710 North Mobility Hubs Plan is an initiative to help the SCAG region reach our unified transportation goals by organizing and prioritizing projects that improve mobility and overall quality of life. The multi-jurisdictional project team for the plan was SCAG; Los Angeles County Public Works; Los Angeles Department of Transportation; and California State University, Los Angeles; along with partners from the City of South Pasadena, City of Alhambra and Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
To address the heavily congestion northern end of the 710 Freeway, this plan identifies 10 future mobility hub locations that offer diverse transportation options, public spaces and environmentally friendly features in the area bounded by Los Angeles Union Station; South Pasadena L (Gold) Line Station; Los Angeles County Public Works headquarters in Alhambra; California State University, Los Angeles; and the surrounding neighborhoods.
